Maserati A6 (1947–1956) were named for Alfieri Maserati (one of the Maserati brothers) and for the straight-six engine.
The A6G (Ghisa) were a series of two-door coupe and spyders by Zagato, Pininfarina, Frua, Ghia, Bertone, Carrozzeria Allemano and Vignale.
